Overview of the Position

The Client Services Representative 1 is a vital role within IQVIA, serving as the main point of contact for various vendors related to events, including Venue, Food & Beverage, and Audio-Visual services. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the client’s Core Team, which includes meeting planners and speaker bureau planners. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating logistics for meetings and ensuring adherence to the client’s business rules and budget.
  • Securing and confirming venue bookings, while ensuring compliance with business rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Planning and confirming the Food & Beverage requirements based on the meeting’s needs, including special requests.
  • Reviewing and securing audio-visual equipment as per the requirements of speakers and representatives.
  • Maintaining effective communication with meeting planners and vendors throughout the meeting lifecycle to ensure seamless execution.
  • Complying with established timelines and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely task completion.

Qualifications Required

To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in events planning and/or customer service, particularly in a phone-based customer service role catering to US clients.
  • Familiarity with US cultural norms to effectively engage with stakeholders and clients.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Experience with tools like SharePoint, Salesforce, and Smartsheet is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, with the capability to clearly articulate needs and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail while accommodating flexible work hours, including potential onsite meetings.
