Job Role Summary

The Associate Quality Engineer position primarily involves contributing to Veeva Vault, a rapidly expanding SaaS platform designed for the life sciences sector, which includes pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical devices. Quality Engineers are integral to the Quality Assurance and Release Engineering team and will be tasked with both functional and automation testing of software to ensure optimal customer success following each release.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Creating documentation related to testing, such as test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports to assess quality and associated risks.

  • Automating processes in collaboration with the automation group to enhance regression coverage.

  • Assisting in triaging automation results and managing testing timelines.

  • Developing a keen understanding of the product and conducting QA tests to verify that outcomes align with expectations.

  • Collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and fellow QA testers within an Agile framework.

Required Skills

Candidates interested in this opportunity should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience coding in Java or other mobile programming languages.

Compensation and Benefits
