Role Summary

The position being offered is for an Associate Director of Strategy within the Vault Clinical Operations Suite at Veeva Systems. Responsibilities

As an Associate Director of Strategy, the incumbent will take on the following responsibilities:

• Develop a strategic plan for account management across different segments.

• Provide thought leadership and support to sales teams.
• Assist in shaping product strategy and messaging at both segment and opportunity levels.
• Engage actively in senior-level discussions with prospects and customers.
• Coordinate resources effectively, spanning from pre-sales to post-implementation, to ensure seamless customer experience and satisfaction.

Required Skills

The position necessitates the following qualifications:

• Strong consulting and leadership skills are critical; applicants should have prior experience in strategy or management consulting.
• Ideally, candidates should possess around 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years at a top Strategy/Management Consulting firm within the Life Sciences field, ideally at the level of Associate Partner/Principal or higher.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in business development with a proven track record is required.
• Candidates must be autonomous and have strong international exposure, indicating they have lived and worked in different countries.
• Applicants must demonstrate native-level fluency in English and have a command of German, French, Danish, or Dutch.

Nice to Have

While not mandatory, these attributes would be considered advantageous:

• Over 3 years of experience working with CROs
• Comprehensive understanding of clinical operations processes
• Previous experience in selling or implementing SaaS software
